Why I Love Judo - by Ella aged 11

I love judo because I learn something new every session and at the end of it, even when it’s really tiring, unlike school, I wish the session would last forever and I can’t wait ‘til the next time.

Even when things are hard, they are still fun, even when I have to fight against older people, which sometimes scares me a bit. When I get hurt, it’s not that bad, which is making me braver.

It’s fun, but serious at the same time. I like the discipline of it.

My judo coaches, Ross and Charles, are nice and fun and also, I have to say, really good at judo. I’ve not seen every judo coach in the world, but to me, they’re the best
