Sponsored Throw and Balloons!!

Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th of July saw players from DJC complete their sponsored throw.

Our players have been gathering sponsors to raise funds for our trip to the Commonwealth Championships in September

The each had to complete 53 throws (one for each country within the Commonwealth)

They will continue to raise sponsorship until the first week of September.

Maria hosted a bake-sale to raise funds and did very well raising over £100!

Also on Saturday a super team of DJC Brand Manager Jackie and Junior Assistant Coach JJ set up a table giving away DJC sticker and balloons in exchange for a small donation raising over £70

It also proved a valuable chance to talk to a lot of potential new members with over 100 children receiving balloons and stickers

It is great to see our club pulling together to assist our older members have the opportunity to represent their country
